Why We Created BE.Kids

BE.Kids was founded by a mom of two girls and a boy after her 6 year old son asked her why his clothes were sized by age and if something was wrong with his body since he wasn’t wearing his “correct” age.

Along her journey, our founder realized that kids clothing are not usually made at the same factories and standard of quality as adult clothing. Further, the cuts and designs generally do not take into account high growth areas like sides and height so that clothing last longer than recess.

Despite all odds and doubt, our founder was determined to create a different kids clothing line. One that is conscious of fair labor practices, sustainable manufacturing, the shape and growth patterns of kids, quality of fabrics, stylish streetwear look and feel and a sizing system that empowers internal confidence in each kid, regardless of how tall, short, round, thin, old, dark or light they are.

Different in all the ways that matter. Because our kids are worth it. Love your different.

Sustainability

Sustainability is at the core of BE.KIDS. We believe that it's our responsibility to ensure that our clothing is not only stylish and comfortable but also environmentally friendly. Here's how we make that happen:

We believe that sustainable fashion is the future for our kids. By prioritizing sustainability in our materials, processing, and manufacturing, we're doing our part to create a brighter future for the next generation. Join us in our commitment to a better world.

Materials: We use sustainable materials such as organic cotton, bamboo, and recycled polyester. These materials are grown and processed without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides, making them safer for the environment and for your child's skin.

Processing: We ensure that our manufacturing processes are eco-friendly. We use low-impact dyes and minimize the use of water, energy, and chemicals during production. We also work with suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability.

Manufacturing: We partner with factories that meet our ethical and environmental standards. We ensure that our workers are treated fairly and paid a living wage. We also prioritize working with factories that are located closer to our customers, reducing our carbon footprint and supporting local economies.

A Better Future: We are committed to continuously improving our sustainability efforts. We aim to reduce our waste, water, and energy usage while increasing our use of recycled materials. We also believe in transparency and will continue to share our sustainability goals and progress with our customers.
